Ada’s World of Fun is delightful new board book series by Daishu Ma

Ada’s World of Fun is a new series of board books by Daishu Ma that features bold colors and delightful characters.

ADA, ARE YOU READY? (Ada’s World of Fun), by Daishu Ma, Candlewick, Jan. 7, 2025, Board Book, $7.99 (ages 0-3)

Mouse is planning a surprise party. Is everybody ready?

Who is hiding, poised to jump up happily when Ada arrives? Flashlight in hand, Mouse shines a light on all the friends, illuminating them one by one. Could that be Elephant clutching a balloon in the bushes? Is that Lion, getting ready to roar? And where is Monkey—maybe searching for a party hat?  —Synopsis provided by Candlewick

Ada, Are You Ready? Is like a big game of hide and seek. Reminiscent of Eric Hill’s Where’s Spot? Little ones will love guessing who is hiding in the shadows.

ADA, LOOK AT MY TEETH! (Ada’s World of Fun), by Daishu Ma, Candlewick, Jan. 7, 2025, Board Book, $7.99 (ages 0-3)

    Check out all those teeth!

When Ada asks each of her animal friends to open their mouth and say “ahhh,” she’s in for a sight! Lion has pointy teeth, Hippo has flat ones, and Mouse has teeth that are teeny-tiny. Elephant’s teeth are huge! Some teeth are crooked like Monkey’s or sharp like upside-down Bat’s, and some are numerous like Crocodile’s or, well, beaky like Duck’s, but everyone’s teeth are just right for them. —Synopsis provided by Candlewick

With each new animal comes a different set of teeth, exposing little ones to new vocabulary along the way.
