Gordon Korman’s DIVE trilogy gets a facelift

    0
By Jessica on February 9, 2025 ages 9 & up, Middle Grade

Gordon Korman’s bestselling DIVE series now has a new look for a new generation of readers. The series follows four kids as they explore the ocean and come up against sharks, shipwrecks and sunken treasure.

First published in 2003, these books are fast-paced, well developed and full of action. These short novels are the perfect length for reluctant readers, but they’ll appeal to stronger readers, too. They’d make a great addition to classroom and home libraries.

Learn more about the books below.

DIVE #1: THE DISCOVERY, by Gordon Korman, Scholastic Inc., Feb. 4, 2025, Paperback $7.99 (ages 9 and up)

Kaz, Dante, Adriana, and Star aren’t the best divers in the world. But they’ve been chosen to spend the summer exploring the depths of the sea.

There are only a few problems. First, the sharks. Killer sharks. And then the fact that the people running the program are covering up something big… and mysterious.

These four kids are about to make the discovery of their lives— and put themselves in danger because of it. —Synopsis provided by Scholastic
