The Changelings follows Izzy, a girl who has always believed in magical worlds, but never understands how completely different Faerie is until she finds herself there. Izzy is bright and inquisitive and driven by love of her family.
Soontornvat’s world-building skills are strong. Dropping readers into a world both familiar and foreign, the author leaves room for imagination to fill in the gaps.
The Changelings is full of mystery, adventure and magic. Readers will be happy to discover the second book, In a Dark Land, will be rereleased in October.
