Introduce babies to numbers and things loved by Utahns in Count on Utah: Baby’s First Book About the Beehive State, by Nicole LaRue.

This bright board book makes learning about Utah as easy as 1, 2, 3! Covering everything from national parks to Dutch oven dinners, hiking boots, skis and snowboards, fry sauce, bees, and snowflakes, Count On Utah is the perfect gift for little Utahns and tiny tourists alike. This fresh and contemporary take on the 45th state will be a hit with little learners. —Synopsis provided by Gibbs Smith

Count On Utah is a charming addition to Nicole LaRue’s Count On series, which highlights iconic symbols of states throughout the nation.

Count On Utah specifically focuses on some of the things that entice visitors — snow, skiing, national parks — and things dear to residents of the state — fry sauce and Dutch ovens. It really feels personalized for Utahns. LaRue’s fun illustrations feature bright colors and clean lines.
