Workman’s Brain Quest Presidents Smart Cards are great for family play

BRAIN QUEST PRESIDENTS SMART CARDS: America’s 250th Anniversary Edition (Brain Quest Smart Cards), by Workman Publishing, Jan. 6, 2026, Cards, $12.99 (ages 8 and up)

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with Brain Quest Presidents Smart Cards, a set of Q&A trivia cards that help you learn about all 47 U.S. presidencies.

This new edition of the classic set of Brain Quest Smart Cards is packed with hundreds of curriculum-based questions covering everything presidential–from what it takes to get to the oval office (Did you know you don’t have to graduate from college to become a president?) to surprising presidential pets (President Hoover had a pet opossum)!

Plus, this fourth edition is updated for a whole new generation with 120 new trivia questions and 60 cards in an all-new format– short biographies of each president, brass tacks break downs of essential civics concepts (branches of government, the electoral college, impeachment), and more! All with Brain Quest’s signature commitment to FUN! Celebrate American’s 250th birthday with Brain Quest Presidents Smart Cards! —Synopsis provided by Workman Publishing

We are big fans of the Brain Quest series at our house. We have two other sets of Smart Cards (America and For the Car), and we use them every time we go camping. They spark conversation and competition, and we always have fun when they come out.

Brain Quest Presidents Smart Cards are a great addition to our collection. The set includes two sets of cards hooked together at the bottom. This keeps all the cards together, and makes it easier to jump between questions and answers. There’s a separate card for each of the presidents that includes highlights, and sometimes lowlights, from each of their terms. The information is balanced and based on fact.

We’ve learned so much as a family while playing Brain Quest Presidents Smart Cards. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, or the other sets in the series. They’re especially fun on road and camping trips.
