Baby Animal Mazes is delightful interactive board book

    0
By Jessica on February 25, 2026 ages 2 & up, picture books, seasonal, Spring

READY FOR MAZES: BABY ANIMAL MAZES, by Susann Hoffmann, Twirl, Feb. 24, 2026, Board Book, $16.99 (ages 2-4)

Help cuddly creatures find their way in Ready for Mazes: Baby Animal Mazes, a hands-on board book by Susann Hoffmann.

Solve the mazes to help the baby animals! Baby Duck has to catch up with its family, Baby Bear wants to get some honey, the sleepy baby foxes want to get home to their cozy den―and more adventures fill the pages of this interactive board book. —Synopsis provided by Twirl

Designed with little ones in mind, this chunky board book is made out of heavy board with embossed pages and maze pieces that help complete the paths. Simple, but friendly, text provides guidance throughout.

Toddlers will need help removing the pieces from their storage, but should be able to manipulate them within the mazes themselves.

The tactile nature of the book will immediately appeal to kids. As will the charming illustrations. It’s a good option for those who are looking for a board book that will build on fine motor skills during one-on-one time. It’s lots of fun.
