Greek Myths is the first book in a planned series that features myths from around the world. This book is a beginner’s guide to ancient Greece that starts out with all the basics before jumping into the interactive bit. It’s a highly visual overview, culminating with an Olympus family tree.
From there, each myth is accompanied by a maze, puzzle or code. The illustrations are bright and pay homage to art from the time period. The biggest selling point for Greek Myths is that each two-page spread can stand alone. Kids will likely want to read more than one myth, but they won’t be overwhelmed by the 50 pages. It’s a fun read that should appeal to a large cross-section of readers.
