My Box of Feelings is delightful set of board books

MY BOX OF FEELINGS (A Hello!Lucky Book): 6 Mini Board Books!, by Hello!Lucky, Sabrina Moyle, Eunice Moyle, Harry N. Abrams, May 5, 2026, Board Books, $16.99 (ages 1-3)

From Sabrina and Eunice Moyle—also known as Hello!Lucky—comes My Box of Feelings, a collection of six original mini board books.

How do you react when you feel angry? Or when you feel love? Or when you feel calm, scared, happy, or sad?

Featuring Hello!Lucky’s bright, bold art, these six small, sturdy board books explore six big feelings with gentle, guiding text. Perfect for helping little ones identify, describe, and regulate their emotions—Are you furious when you feel mad? Are you focused when you feel calm?—this is a wonderful teaching tool.

With one main color per book—red for anger, yellow for happiness, etc.—the bright, graphic treatment of this all-important topic will appeal to young children as much as to their caregivers.

Stacked neatly inside a box, these small board books are perfect for little hands and are easy for caretakers to carry or to keep in a classroom or playroom. —Synopsis provided by Harry N. Abrams

I wish that My Box of Feelings had been around when my daughter was little. I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Not only do the books help little ones identify basic emotions, they do it in a delightful way, too.

These chunky reads will hold up to the heavy wear infants and toddlers put on such books. At 3.5 inches square, these books are a great size for little hands. The text is simple and bold. The illustrations are bright and friendly. And die cuts add a bit of whimsy.

This box set is my new go-to item for baby showers or first birthdays. You really can’t go wrong with it.
